Degrees and Certifications:
BS in Biology from Campbell University M.Ed. with a Concentration in Secondary Science from NCSU
Secondary Science Teacher
After graduating magna cum laude from Campbell University with a BS in Biology, I began my teaching career in Cumberland County at Armstrong Jr. High School. My first subjects were honors biology and college prep physical science. I coached volleyball and softball during this time as well.
After several years in Cumberland County, I returned to Sampson County to teach at Midway High School where I taught honors chemistry, honors physical science, honors physics, honors anatomy & physiology, and honors advanced biology. A few of my non-instructional duties while at Midway were volleyball coach, SIT chair, science department chair, and mentor. During my years at Midway, my life met with many wonderful but life altering changes. I met my husband, Warren Sinclair who is from Clinton and we were married in 2000 and in 2005, I had my first child, Anna Perry Sinclair. To further my education, I obtained my M.Ed. with a concentration in secondary science from NCSU in May of 2007.
My teaching career continued after the birth of my child but I chose to move closer to home and began teaching at Sampson Early College High School where I continue to teach today. In 2008, my family grew to include my twins, April Leigh Sinclair and James Warren Sinclair.
