Welcome to our first grade classroom! My name is Michelle Warren.   I have been teaching for over 24 years.  I taught with exceptional children's department for 12 years.  I taught 2nd grade for 5 years, and am excited to begin my eighth year in 1st grade.  I earned my bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University in 1997.  I then received my master's degree from East Carolina in 2005.  I am certified to teach in the areas of Elementary Education, Mentally Disabled, and Learning Disabled.

I was born and raised in upstate New York, but have lived in North Carolina for half my life!  I am married to a native from Sampson County and we have two children.
