Important Information

  • All K-12 public schools are closed until May 15.

    As such, Sampson Early College High School will be using CANVAS to connect students with their high school classwork. Students need to check their individual teacher’s CANVAS pages for instructions and assignments.  Students are encouraged to complete all work posted in a timely manner. Students are also encouraged to maintain communication with their high school teachers through email, CANVAS, and/or REMIND.

    For students without internet access, paper packets will be available for pick-up at Sampson Early College High School on Wednesday, April 1 & Thursday, April 2 from 8-3.  Be sure to contact your teacher if you need a packet.

    Sampson Community College will resume its Spring schedule on Monday, March 30. All college courses, including PE courses, have been moved online using Moodle. Students will be expected to complete their college coursework as normal. Students are encouraged to maintain communication with their college professors through email.


    Mrs. Tyndall has created remind accounts so students and parents can stay updated on registration, schedules and other student opportunities. Please join as if you plan to graduate in 5 years. A Graduate Class of 2021 Remind account will be created later.

2020 SECHS Teacher of the Year

  • Shannon Sinclair

    Mrs. Sinclair has been with Sampson Early College since 2007. She teaches Earth Science and Chemistry and sponsors the Gaming Club. We are very excited that she was selected as Sampson Early College High School's Teacher of the Year. Congratulations Mrs. Sinclair, we appreciate the job you do every day!
