Ann Johnson is the Director of Exceptional Children for Sampson County Schools. She recieved a BS in Elementary Education and her M.Ed. in Cross Categorical Special Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Leslie Cain- Teachers of Excellence 2012-2013
Leslie Cain has been a dedicated teacher serving students with disabilities for twelve years with the Sampson County Schools. She has been nominated as Teacher of Excellence for Sampson County by her peers. She has served in various capacities which include: IEP Chair, CIPP Stakeholder, Public Relations Committee member, and a School Improvement Team Member. She has attended numerous Exceptional Children workshops dealing with procedure and policies.
She finds time to spend with her two children—Luke and Lydia as well as with her husband Tim. Mrs. Cain enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and going to the beach. Mrs. Cain has a positive attitude and strives to make a difference in the lives of students with disabilities. She maintains a cooperative relationship with the director, principals, school staff, and parents. She is a great asset to Sampson County Schools.
