Mr. Barlowe earned his BS degree from North Carolina State University and his Masters of Education from North Carolina State University in Agricultural Education.

Mr. Barlowe is currently in his 28th year of teaching Agricultural Education/FFA in North Carolina.  This is his 16th year teaching at Union High School.  Other schools in which he has taught are:  Lakewood High School, Clinton High School, Midway High School and he spent 3 years as the North Carolina State Agricultural Education Coordinator.

Mr Barlowe is a National Board Certified Teacher.
